Dragon 13

The thirteenth of my dragon drawings exploring Morality and Aesthetics. This series uses Dragons and Wyverns, although it will probably progress to other fantasy creatures, as metaphors for the ambiguous thoughts lurking at the back of our Subconscious minds waiting to be acted upon.

As with all of these dragons the background has been appropriated from the woodcuts of Japanese Ukiyo-e artists, in this case the background is from the work of Utagawa Kuniyoshi

I love creating this series and I hope you like them aesthetically and hopefully the connotations interest you as much as they interest me.
